Peraltas Camp opens its January 2026 holiday season in Brotas with 5 and 6-day packages, nature activities and an educational focus for children.
With more than 45 years of history, Peraltas Camp, in Brotas, kicks off this week its January 2026 holiday season. Located in Brazil’s adventure tourism capital, about 220 km from São Paulo, the camp offers 5 and 6-day packages with full board and a program that combines fun, nature and learning for children.
The holiday season runs from 9 to 18 January 2026, with pre-set periods and the option for campers to stay as many days as they wish. It is the perfect time for kids to unplug from screens, spend time in nature, make new friends, have fun and learn in a safe, welcoming environment.
Learning, autonomy and group life
During the Peraltas holiday season, children develop key skills such as responsibility for everyday choices, higher self-esteem and confidence, better communication, empathy and social skills. Group activities also encourage teamwork, citizenship and social and environmental awareness.
All these experiences take place in a playful and natural way, through dozens of themed activities led by the camp’s staff. Games, workshops, cooperative challenges and creative experiences are tailored to each age group, always focusing on safety, well-being and the campers’ overall development.
Activities at CEU and a journey through the universe
One of the highlights of Peraltas Camp is the themed cave of CEU (Center for the Study of the Universe), one of the largest Astronomy and Science centers in Latin America, located inside the camp. There, children explore science and space in an engaging, hands-on way.
Surrounded by the preserved nature of Brotas and away from smartphones, tablets and computers, the themed activities become even more immersive. The experience at CEU and on the trails around the camp helps spark scientific curiosity, fascination with the night sky and interest in environmental issues.
Safe routine, age groups and screen-free days
Activities at Peraltas are divided by age group and designed specifically for each one, ensuring appropriate challenges and experiences. Accommodation is separated for boys and girls, and monitoring is available 24 hours a day, reinforcing safety and care throughout the holiday season.
A key feature of the camp is that children stay fully disconnected from digital media. Even so, parents stay informed, as they receive daily photos, videos and messages with updates on their children’s routine sent by the camp team.
January dates, prices and packages
The January holiday season at Peraltas Camp runs from 9 to 18 January 2026. There are pre-set 5 and 6-day stays, but families can also build longer stays, with prices becoming more attractive as the number of nights increases.
The 6-day package, from 9 to 14 January, costs R$ 5,446. The 5-day option, from 14 to 18 January, costs R$ 4,654. All packages include full board, with four meals per day: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner, already included in the holiday season price.
Peraltas also offers special discounts for siblings and for campers who bring along friends, making the experience more affordable for families and groups. The idea is to encourage children to share the camp with people they know while expanding their network of friendships.
What the package includes
The Peraltas Camp holiday season package includes a complimentary ecotourism tour, ideal for discovering Brotas’s natural landscapes. Campers also receive R$ 120 in credit for purchases at the snack bar during their stay.
Each camper gets a ticket for a stargazing session at CEU’s planetarium, a Peraltas T-shirt, travel insurance, access to all guided leisure activities, workshops and full use of the camp’s facilities. The package also covers round-trip transport between São Paulo and Brotas.
