Carnival all February: Vilarejo’s nonstop party in Rio

Carnival is already on at Vilarejo Hotels: daily fun all February, plus Feb 13–18 with parades, live music, themed parties and family activities.

Throughout February, Vilarejo Hotels roll out a continuous Carnival-style schedule designed for different guest profiles, pairing entertainment with full-service amenities. Daily games, kids’ activities and “bailinhos” are led by the Turma da Alegria, while the official Carnival dates bring an expanded lineup with themed events and experiences aimed at families.

Hotel Vilarejo Praia: oceanfront fun with all inclusive

At Hotel Vilarejo Praia, across from Abricó Beach, the February agenda is set against an oceanfront backdrop and a all inclusive system described as the only one in the area. One highlight is Sunset Vilarejo, which turns sunset into a signature moment within the weekly programming.

The hotel also features themed nights during the week—tropical parties, “boteco” gatherings, pre-summer warm-ups and a churrasco de chão appetizer-style barbecue. For kids, there’s daily recreation and dedicated spaces such as the Aqua Vila complex with waterslides, interactive fountains and a tipping bucket.

On-site amenities include pools, heated jacuzzis with sea views, a gym, a private cinema and direct beach access. From February 13 to 18, the property boosts its schedule with the official Carnival kickoff, including the Bloco Vai Quem Vem, samba dancers, live music and activities for multiple age groups.

Hotel Fazenda Vilarejo: nature, adventure and a special week

At Hotel Fazenda Vilarejo in Conservatória, February keeps the “Vila Verão” vibe going with outdoor activities surrounded by nature. The agenda includes daily recreation, challenges, forest trails, climbing, treetop courses, zip lines, a small farm, workshops, kids’ dance parties, costume parties, live music and the traditional churrasco de chão.

The covered, heated Aqua Vila complex adds waterslides, an infinity-edge pool overlooking the lake, a hot tub and an all inclusive bar. Another on-site attraction is Vila Dino, featuring giant dinosaur figures, incubators and a paleontology lab concept.

During Carnival week, from February 13 to 18, the hotel promotes a special schedule with the official kickoff, themed “blocos” with jugglers, the Bloco Vai Quem Vem, a masquerade ball with a costume contest, pool parties, dances, creative workshops and dedicated moments for both kids and adults.

Packages and conditions

For summer, both properties sell all inclusive packages, covering meals, snacks and drinks throughout the stay. The group also states that two children up to 12 years old staying in the parents’ room are free, and payments can be split into up to 12 installments. Conditions should be confirmed at booking.

At Hotel Fazenda Vilarejo, the list includes challenges, Eco Parque outings, forest trails, churrasco de chão, Bloco Vai Quem Vem, a masquerade ball with costume contest, a walk to the cross viewpoint, a visit to the cachaça distillery, “Vilarejo radical” activities, a ferry ride, a walk to “solarata” in Conservatória, human foosball, arts workshops, master chef activities, dance classes, a kids’ disco and costume party, an adventure night, a music show, Cine Vilarejo, night games and karaoke.
