Luísa Sonza headlines Bloco Modo Surto on Feb 8 in São Paulo, gathering at 1 pm on the Circuito Laguna route; guests will be revealed online.
After drawing more than 120,000 revelers in 2025, Bloco Modo Surto is confirmed for its third edition and is expected to be even bigger in 2026. Sonza will once again lead the sound truck—now one of the most anticipated fixtures of São Paulo’s pre-Carnival season.
Date and route for 2026
The parade takes place on February 8, running from 1 pm to 6 pm. The meet-up point is at Av. Arquiteto Carlos Bratke and Rua Bragança Paulista, and the procession continues along Av. Arquiteto Carlos Bratke on the Circuito Laguna.
Special guests to be announced on Instagram
The lineup of guest appearances has not been disclosed yet. Organizers say names will be revealed over the coming days on the official Instagram account: @blocomodosurto.
In 2025, the block featured artists such as Ana Castela, DENNIS, Emilia Mernes, Nilo, Triz, and Bibi Babydoll—helping cement its status as a major pre-Carnival crowd magnet in the city.
Sponsorship and event setup
The event’s master sponsor is Gillette Venus, which will support the 2026 structure and brand activations designed to enhance the on-street experience for attendees.
With hit songs, high-energy performance, and a massive singalong crowd, Bloco Modo Surto positions itself again as one of São Paulo’s standout street-Carnival moments for Carnival 2026.
