Andressa Fonseca debuted as Princess of Imperio Serrano at Sapucai rehearsal, embracing the thrill of an iconic role in a deeply representative samba plot.
Thrilling Debut on Marquês de Sapucaí
The samba dancer made her first run in the new role during Imperio Serrano‘s technical rehearsal. It marks prominence and representation in the green-and-white school.
Andressa overflowed with feeling. “The anxiety for this day was huge. Debuting as Princess of Imperio Serrano, especially in such a representative storyline, is truly special,” she shared.
Now it’s about staying focused and waiting with a heart full of anticipation for the official parade.
Versatile Path in Carnival World
Since 2019, Andressa has built a dynamic career. She’s featured in floats, front commissions, and passista wings across various schools.
She shone as muse for Leão de Nova Iguaçu in Intendente Magalhães. With Imperio Serrano, she joined the passista wing and repped the school at the 2024 Royal Court Contest. She’s also excelled as a show passista at events.
