Ivete Sangalo becomes Guaraná Antarctica’s ambassador and rerecords “Pipoca com Guaraná” with a Carnival 2026 sound.
Two Brazilian crowd-pleasers are now on the same side of the parade: Ivete Sangalo has been named the new ambassador for Guaraná Antarctica. The brand says the partnership will unfold throughout the year, with more surprises on the way—starting with one of the most recognizable jingles in Brazilian pop culture.
The kickoff is a new take on “Pipoca com Guaraná”, a 1990s hit that never really left the national memory. This time, it comes in a Carnival-ready rhythm, spotlighting Ivete—often affectionately called the “Queen of the Pipoca” for her massive, free-spirited trio crowds—alongside the soda marketed as the “Original of Brazil.”
The video version, created and sung by Ivete, has already been shared on social media and sets the tone for Carnival 2026.

“Pipoca com Guaraná” has been reinvented more than once. Last year, it even got a darker, Wednesday Addams-inspired version through a collaboration between Guaraná Antarctica and Netflix. Now, in 2026, the classic returns again—this time led by Ivete’s voice and a full-on street-party pulse.

Bianca Parrella, Ambev’s director of Non-Alcoholic beverages, says the pairing works because both share the same joyful DNA and reflect pride in Brazilian roots. The company also teases more on-screen moments and exclusive content featuring Ivete and the brand, to be revealed in the coming weeks.
After the block, still in the mood
Guaraná Antarctica is also leaning into the post-parade ritual—when the music fades and hunger hits. The idea is to place the soda right there with whatever comes next, from late-night pizza to a simple bag of popcorn.
In that push, Guaraná Antarctica Zero Sugar takes center stage as the option for fans who want to keep the vibe going, from pre-game warm-ups to the after-hours snack. The brand promises a series of Zero Sugar activations throughout Carnival.
According to figures shared in the announcement, the product has been gaining momentum since its 2023 relaunch. In the third quarter of 2025, Guaraná Antarctica Zero Sugar grew by more than 30%.

With a remade jingle and more activations promised, the campaign aims for the most competitive summer territory of all: Carnival’s shared memory—built on catchy choruses, street energy, and the taste people associate with the season.
