Sabrina Sato, Paolla Oliveira and guests sang happy birthday in the middle of Sapucaí to celebrate three and a half decades of Rio’s most iconic Carnival space.
The Nº1 VIP Box turned 35 and transformed its own celebration into one of the most memorable moments of this year’s Rio Carnival. At Marquês de Sapucaí, the traditional birthday song gathered celebrities and guests around a cake specially created for the occasion by renowned pastry chef Denilson Lima.
The piece was custom-designed to embody the identity that established Nº1 as a benchmark of exclusivity during Rio’s festivities. During the celebration, Sabrina and Karina Sato led the moment alongside Paolla Oliveira, Mayara Lima, Ju Ferraz and Silvia Braz. Among the attendees were Mariana Goldfarb, Maria and Antônio Oliva — the founder’s children —, Luiza Sobral, as well as partners Marcio Esher and Flavio Sarahyba.
Three and a half decades of prominence
Since its debut in the 1990s, Nº1 VIP Box has built a trajectory that combines entertainment, visibility and exclusive experiences. The space has become synonymous with prestige at Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival, attracting year after year personalities from entertainment, fashion and business.
The 35-year milestone reinforces the box’s ability to remain relevant and desired amid the transformations of Brazil’s largest popular festival. More than just a birthday celebration, the moment symbolizes the consolidation of a legacy that spans generations.
