Singer gathered crowd at MAM with 12-hour party and turned viral hit into collective chorus at Rio Carnival. The block “Seremos Felizes” (We Will Be Happy), led by Yan, attracted around 10,000 revelers in a party that lasted 12 hours and consolidated the artist as one of the new forces of Rio’s pagode scene.The most emblematic moment happened when “Textão” echoed through the crowd. The song, which went viral in 2025 after Vini Jr.’s public apology to Virginia Fonseca, continues to climb on radio and streaming platforms. At the block, it became a massive collective chorus that took over the MAM space.

Marathon of performances intensifies celebration

The block’s debut is just the beginning of an intense schedule. Yan faces a marathon of 20 performances during the Carnival period, maintaining the accelerated pace that already characterizes his trajectory in the city.This Monday (Feb 16), the singer performs at Kauai (Barra da Tijuca), Camarote Favela (Sapucaí), and participates in Camarote QUEM/O Globo (Sapucaí). On Tuesday (Feb 17), the schedule includes Terreirão do Samba (Centro), Feijoada do Otacílio (Ilha Itanhangá), and a participation at Camarote King (Sapucaí).The block format expands the reach of the “Seremos Felizes” label, which already promotes shows throughout the year gathering crowds across Rio de Janeiro.
