Characters like Wednesday Addams and Emily in Paris join Kopenhagen’s Easter lineup as the brand targets 30% growth in licensed products and eggs from R$89.90.
A bold restructuring ahead of chocolate’s biggest season
Brazilian premium chocolate brand Kopenhagen is entering Easter 2026 with a fully revamped portfolio strategy: 41 products across eight categories, repriced key items, and a strong push in flavor innovation and licensed characters. The brand projects up to 30% growth in licensed products compared to last year.
New licensed additions include Fofolete, Wednesday Addams, Emily in Paris, and Cherry Merry Muffin — joining existing partnerships with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, and Strawberry Shortcake. The expanded lineup targets audiences ranging from young children to pop-culture-savvy adults.
Iconic products get their own spotlight
One of the season’s key moves is the creation of the Classics category, which groups Kopenhagen’s most beloved products: Língua de Gato, Nhá Benta, Lajotinha, Crocante, and Crocantinho. The move gives heritage products greater visibility and streamlines the in-store shopping experience.
Price repositioning is another strategic pillar. The brand adjusted prices on key products, now offering Easter eggs starting at R$89.90 — a move aimed at broadening accessibility while maintaining the premium perception the brand is known for.
New flavors: Pretzel, Popcorn, and Macadamia
The Filled and Exagero (Over-the-Top) categories lead this year’s innovation. The Filled line introduces three trend-driven flavors: Pretzel, Caramelized Macadamia, and Cookies & Cream. The Exagero line — known for its indulgent fillings and intense sensory experience — adds a new Popcorn flavor.
Exagero also keeps its signature items Língua de Gato, Nhá Benta, and Cherry, while welcoming back the fan-favorite Chokonut Hazelnut to the Easter portfolio, delivering a balance of crunch, creaminess, and texture.
Gift options at every price point
Kopenhagen is also expanding its gifting and keepsake offerings, a growing segment that enables lower-spend purchases and higher buying frequency throughout the season. The portfolio spans from individual treats to superpremium gift boxes.
“We’re very confident about this Easter because we made very conscious choices, focusing on what Kopenhagen consumers truly value. By balancing tradition and novelty, we strengthened our value proposition and created real reasons for people to walk into our stores and experience the brand fully.” — Pedro Velardo Neto, Head of Marketing at Kopenhagen
