IRA! celebrates 20 years of “MTV Unplugged” with a special concert at Qualistage on March 13, bringing nostalgia and timeless hits. Released in 2004, the “MTV Unplugged” album turned IRA! into a national phenomenon, selling nearly one million copies and becoming one of Brazil’s most successful acoustic projects. Two decades later, the band returns to the stage with a commemorative tour that revisits this golden era. The Rio show will feature songs like “O Girassol”, “Eu Quero Sempre Mais” and “Tarde Vazia”, alongside rock anthems such as “Envelheço na Cidade” and “Dias de Luta”. Fans will also enjoy renditions of “Flerte Fatal”, “Ciganos” and “Pra Ficar Comigo”, IRA!’s energetic Portuguese version of The Clash’s “Train in Vain”. With Nasi (vocals), Edgard Scandurra (guitar, vocals), Evaristo Pádua (drums), Johnny Boy (keyboards, guitar), Daniel Scandurra (bass), Jonas Moncaio (Tchello) and Juba Carvalho (percussion), the show “IRA! Acústico 20 Anos” promises to revive the sound and emotion that defined a generation of Brazilian rock.
