WhatsApp head Guilherme Horn launches “The AI Mindset” on March 30, with a talk alongside Magalu CEO Frederico Trajano in São Paulo.
Guilherme Horn, head of WhatsApp for strategic markets including Brazil, India, and Indonesia, will release his new book, “The AI Mindset – It thinks, you decide”, published by Editora Gente. The launch takes place on March 30 at 8 p.m. at Galeria Magalu, São Paulo. A special conversation with Frederico Trajano, CEO of Magalu and author of the book’s preface, will precede it at 7 p.m.
In this book, Horn explores why fear around artificial intelligence says more about human cognition than about technology itself. He analyzes how corporate culture can accelerate or block AI adoption, discusses cognitive biases that distort our perception of algorithms, and defends how AI can enhance deeply human abilities such as empathy, creativity, and purpose.
An entrepreneur and innovation leader, Horn founded Ágora and Órama, led innovation at Accenture Latin America, and currently heads WhatsApp operations for Brazil, India, and Indonesia at Meta. He is also a global professor at Singularity University, Endeavor ambassador, and LinkedIn Top Voice.
His previous book, The Innovation Mindset, became a bestseller soon after its 2021 release by Editora Gente.
