Inspired by Racionais MC’s, Emicida brings his MCMV Tour to Porto Alegre on July 4, with exclusive Itaú presale and discounted tickets.
Brazilian rapper Emicida will perform in Porto Alegre as part of his Racional MCMV Tour, a project dedicated to reimagining the legacy of Racionais MC’s. The concert will take place on July 4 at the Auditório Araújo Vianna, produced by 30e and presented by Itaú Live. Itaú Unibanco customers have early access from March 27 (10 a.m.) with 15% off, while general sales begin on March 30 (2 p.m.) at eventim.com.br/emicida.
The tour is based on the album Emicida Racional VL 2 – Mesmas Cores & Mesmos Valores, blending reflection and homage. The name MCMV also refers to the year 1905, when Einstein presented his Theory of Relativity — a concept that Emicida uses to explore personal and collective perspectives on stage.
With musical direction by Emicida and production by Fejuca and Damien Seth, the show features tracks from the new album — including “Finado Neguim Memo?” and “Us Memo Preto Zica” — alongside career highlights from Pra Quem Já Mordeu um Cachorro por Comida to AmarElo. “We want to bring the same energy of the studio to the stage. It’s about elevating what an MC can be,” Emicida says.
