The final EP of “Na Rota do Benza no Pelô” drops this Friday with three new songs, including the Suel-featured “Love Friend” and “Coitadinho” with Pixote.

Brazilian pagode group Benzadeus wraps up one of the most significant chapters of their recent career this Friday (April 3) with the release of the final EP from their DVD “Na Rota do Benza no Pelô”. Recorded at the iconic Pelourinho district in Salvador, Bahia, in front of more than 10,000 fans, the complete project features 11 tracks that define the group’s rise to national prominence.
The final installment brings three brand-new songs: “Love Friend”, a collaboration with Suel and the project’s lead single; “Coitadinho”, featuring pagode group Pixote; and “Oi Flor”. With a breezy, contemporary feel, “Love Friend” explores modern relationships without labels — blending desire, freedom, and the ambiguous “gray zone” many listeners know all too well.

Building on a wave of success
The release rides the momentum of “Erro Calculado”, a duet with Mari Fernandez that has been dominating Brazilian radio and climbing the most-played charts nationwide. On YouTube alone, the track has already surpassed 7.2 million views.
Beyond the new tracks, the full project includes fan favorites such as “Modo Ioiô” (with Olodum), “Engajamento” (with J. Eskine), “Pimenta da Baiana”, “Perdeu Mané”, and “Era Uma Vez”, alongside medleys and reimagined versions loved by longtime fans.
