Brazilian pop icon Fábio Jr. packed Barretos for a charity dinner show, donating all proceeds to Hospital de Amor after 20 years of partnership with the cancer institution.
On Thursday (April 2), singer Fábio Jr. took the stage at the Centro de Eventos Dr. Paulo Prata in Barretos, São Paulo state, for a charity dinner show that drew nearly 2,000 people. Every cent of the evening’s revenue went directly to Hospital de Amor, one of Brazil’s leading free cancer treatment centers.
An Intimate Night of Music and Giving
Held the evening before Good Friday, the event blended the warmth of a sit-down dinner — complete buffet and open bar — with the energy of a live concert. The intimate setting created a powerful bond between Fábio Jr. and the audience from the very first song.
The setlist spanned more than 20 songs, opening with “Ilumina” and rolling through beloved hits like “Só Você”, “Pai”, and “Vinte e Poucos Anos”. Fans of all ages sang along from start to finish, turning the venue into one giant chorus.
Two Decades of Generosity Honored
The most emotional moment came just before “Alma Gêmea”, when Henrique Prata, president of Hospital de Amor, stepped onstage to present Fábio Jr. with a commemorative framed piece recognizing twenty years of partnership between the artist and the institution.
