Portuguese-Brazilian writer and storyteller Clara Haddad presents her latest work “Na Minha Casa” (Telos Editora) at the prestigious Bologna Children’s Book Fair, held from April 13 to 16, 2026. The event is a major milestone in her three-decade career devoted to literature, oral storytelling, and bibliotherapy.

The text was selected by Faberllull (Institut Ramon Llull) in Barcelona, a project connecting publishers and illustrators worldwide. Over twenty artists showed interest, leading to the collaboration with Italian illustrator Francesca Corso, whose engaging colors and traditional techniques perfectly complement Haddad’s poetic narrative.

“Na Minha Casa” offers a sensitive reflection on the meaning of home — not just as a physical space, but as a place of memory, affection, and belonging. With her intimate and emotive writing style, Haddad invites readers of all ages to explore the universal feeling of finding one’s own refuge.

In Brazil, the book will be launched at the São Paulo International Book Biennial, taking place from September 4 to 13 at Anhembi District. This 28th edition, featuring Spain as the guest of honor, reinforces cultural exchange between Brazilian and Iberian literary scenes.

Clara Haddad’s artistic path defies convention — as a writer, oral storyteller, bibliotherapist, actress, and educator, she carries her work across schools, theaters, and cultural institutions. Living between Portugal and Brazil, her career stands out for its emotional depth and international reach.

Her published books include “Poeira das Estrelas”, “A Contadora de Histórias e Outros Contos de Encantar”, “A Velhinha e o Porco”, “O que é que o Crocodilo Come ao Meio-Dia?” and “O Garimpeiro das Palavras”. She also co-authored “Histórias de Quem Conta Histórias”.
