On March 7, starting at 3 p.m., Livraria Martins Fontes, on Avenida Paulista, will host the launch of “Lucca and the Traquitana”, written by Thiago Cassis and Gustavo Cristóófaro, and published by Studio Plural Editora. The book offers a sensitive and playful approach to how children handle frustration, fear, and insecurity, key aspects in discussions about kids’ emotional wellbeing.

The story begins with a simple situation — a bad day at school — and turns it into an imaginative journey through the Universe, guided by the emotional bond between grandmother and grandson. Blending fantasy, philosophy, and imagination, the narrative invites readers to explore self-awareness and empathy from childhood.

The event will feature storyteller Nina Brondi, who will read excerpts from the book and engage the audience in the story. Afterward, children will join a creative workshop, building their own “traquitanas” and diving into Lucca’s imaginative world.
