Pre-Carnival heats up São Paulo with samba and Afro-Latin beats

Arena Carnaval SP remains the soundtrack of São Paulo’s pre-Carnival. Its lineup blends samba, axé music, pop, MPB, and multicultural acts. The core theme honors dance and joy.

On January 17, Silva kicks off at Memorial da América Latina. He leads Bloco do Silva, joined by Alcione and Pretinho da Serrinha‘s performance. Expect MPB classics.

January 24 brings BaianaSystem with Baile Pirataria – Améfrica version. This project spotlights Afro-Latin roots through salsa, cumbia, samba, and ijexá. Guests include Luedji Luna and Emicida.

7th edition boosts cultural economy

Marking its seventh year in 2026, Arena Carnaval SP is produced by InHaus, an entertainment hub. It has drawn over 300,000 attendees historically. Around 5,000 professionals support production.

Arena Carnaval SP has become a strategic platform for artists to showcase Carnival novelties. We aim to enhance the city’s pre-Carnival and create positive impact.

Says Luiz Restiffe from InHaus. The event features themed areas, gourmet spaces, and full amenities.
