Beija-Flor’s drumline, 2025 Carnival winner, storms Uptown Barra this Saturday (7), kicking off a free warm-up fest celebrating Cacique de Ramos’ 65 years.
Rio Carnival Fever Hits Early
Carnival vibes erupt early at Uptown Barra. From 5pm to 9pm on February 7-8, blocos and bands thrill crowds. Free entry, all ages welcome.
Saturday: Cala Boca and Beija-Flor
Carnavalesco Bloco Cala a Boca e Dança parades first. A band follows with mixed rhythms. Star power comes from Beija-Flor de Nilópolis‘s battery, 2025 champs.
Sunday Caps with Cacique
At 5pm, Bloco Carnavalesco Flor de Gardênia starts strong. Cacique de Ramos, marking 65 years, closes with unstoppable samba energy.
