Tribute to Bixiga’s True Legends

Under Candinho Neto, official ambassador of São Paulo Street Carnival 2026, Banda do Candinho spotlights “Bixiga Heroes”. The storyline echoes “All for one, one for all” from Dumas, mirroring icons like Armando Pugliese, Armandinho do Bixiga, Walter Taverna, Egydio Coelho da Silva, and Dr. Nelson Abreu Pinto.

These figures shaped Bela Vista‘s cultural, social, and community fabric. Candinho Neto, ABASP founder and honorary president, has championed street carnivals for decades.

All for one, one for Bixiga.
