Anyone walking through Marco Zero in Recife Antigo can already feel the city shifting into carnival mode. As the main stage goes up, another build is turning heads: Camarote Marco Zero, now in full set-up pace inside the historic Palácio do Comércio.

Recife Carnival 2026: dates and concept

Running from February 12 to 17, 2026, Camarote Marco Zero positions itself as a comfort-first way to experience the biggest shows at the festival’s central hub. The pitch is straightforward: more convenience and exclusivity, while staying connected to the street energy that defines Recife’s carnival.

What guests can expect inside

The 2026 edition spreads services and hangout areas across multiple floors. Highlights include a premium open bar, in-house music programming, comfortable lounges, private security, and an exclusive entrance via Rua do Bom Jesus.

Additional features include bars on every level, three bands per day performing on the ground floor, an indoor big screen streaming the main stage, a rooftop terrace, and a wraparound balcony designed for panoramic views of the crowd and concerts.

Jobs and local economic impact

Organizers also point to the project’s role in the seasonal economy. Over the six days, more than 100 professionals work directly in operations tied to the venue. Indirect employment exceeds 500 positions, spanning production suppliers, logistics, food services, abadá manufacturing, security teams, and the bands performing inside the camarote.

Recycling program and social commitment

Social and environmental actions are part of the plan. In partnership with the City of Recife through Emlurb, Camarote Marco Zero joins a structured selective waste collection service monitored by the municipal agency, benefiting thousands of registered waste pickers.

The initiative includes dozens of workers from Comunidade do Pilar, near Recife Antigo, supporting social inclusion and the circular economy.

Food by Moendo na Laje

The 2026 culinary experience will be led by Moendo na Laje. Headed by chef Rapha Vasconcellos, the project promises an author-driven menu throughout the festivities, aligned with the camarote’s premium format.

Sponsors and brand activations

Esporte da Sorte signs on as the master sponsor, bringing special activations and exclusive experiences developed with the venue’s management for guests and clients. Additional sponsors include Amstel, Ballantine’s Sunshine, Eco Postos, and Seja Beauty Beauty & Hair, with logistics support from Pedragon Chevrolet.
