Carnatal 2025 gathers 140,000 revelers in three days and delivers the biggest edition in its history with a unified celebration at Arena das Dunas.
For 34 years, Carnatal has proven that longevity is achieved through boldness, economic strength and constant reinvention. In 2025, Brazil’s largest off-season carnival surpassed its own milestones and delivered its most vibrant edition yet. The celebration transformed Natal, welcomed 140,000 revelers and strengthened its national impact.
Friday sets the tone for an iconic edition
Friday opened the celebration with the energy of Banda Grafith’s 084 bloco, a symbol of local identity. Saulo brought emotion to the Caju bloco, while Bell Marques delivered his traditional performance, widely considered the spiritual beginning of Carnatal. Banda Eva, Wesley Safadão and Nattan kept the pace in the camarotes.
Saturday raises the bar with powerful performances
Saturday expanded the scale of the event. Léo Santana ignited the circuit with Vem com o Gigante and had a striking on-stage encounter with Lore Improta, the festival’s official ambassador. Bell Marques returned for another memorable performance. Claudia Leitte led Largadinho to one of its largest audiences in recent years. Eric Land energized the camarotes, followed by Xand Avião, who welcomed Mari Fernandez and Natanzinho Lima.
A historic Sunday crowns a unified celebration
Sunday delivered a legendary moment. Ivete Sangalo led the Euforia bloco with a powerful show. Bell Marques offered a vibrant farewell, and Grafith attracted massive crowds. The defining moment came at the end, when all sectors — blocos, camarotes and bleachers — joined in a unified celebration at Arena das Dunas.
The night closed at Camarote Skol with Durval Lelys, Simone Mendes and Rafa & Pipo. The announcement of Carnatal 2026 was also revealed on this historic night.
Brand activations and large-scale operations
Carnatal 2025 recorded one of the largest brand activation volumes in its history, with actions by PicPay, Bob’s, Skol, Guaraná, Unimed, Beefeater, Esportes da Sorte, Elo, Beats, Alares and Natal Shopping. The operation covered nearly 250,000 square meters, expanded clean-energy initiatives, strengthened social-ticket actions and broadened accessibility measures.
Social commitment and expanded accessibility
The festival intensified universal accessibility efforts, including menus in Libras, adapted stages, wheelchair areas and enhanced circulation. Three dedicated support centers for women were available, the “Não é Não” protocol was reinforced, and a QR Code provided immediate assistance services. A special action also marked the White Ribbon Day.
The future of Carnatal
The 2025 edition reaffirmed Carnatal’s essence: more than a party, it is a cultural movement and a collective force. The next edition will take place on December 4, 5 and 6, 2026.
Until then, Carnatal continues transforming Natal into a place where celebration is reborn every year.
