At an exclusive Rio sunset party, Elisa Zarzur wore a red Cult Gaia gown to celebrate the brand’s official arrival in Brazil during Carnival week.
Cult Gaia makes its official debut in Brazil
Cult Gaia, the Los Angeles-based label founded by Jasmin Hekmat, chose Rio de Janeiro to mark its official entry into the Brazilian market. On the afternoon of Friday, February 20th, an intimate sunset party brought together a carefully selected guest list to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter for the brand in South America.
The timing was deliberate. Jasmin Hekmat chose Carnival week to deepen the brand’s connection with Brazil — and the setting matched the ambition. The party was hosted at the residence of Alexandra Benenti and Alexandre Birman in Rio de Janeiro, with the founder herself serving as co-host.
A sculptural look that speaks the brand’s language
Content creator Elisa Zarzur arrived in a red strapless Cult Gaia dress featuring a structured bodice and pleated texture — a piece that perfectly encapsulates the brand’s signature blend of sculpture and sun-drenched femininity. The warm tones echoed Rio’s golden-hour sky, striking the perfect balance between effortless and refined.
The full look was styled by @199 mark, with beauty by Mario Marques, heels by YSL, and jewelry by Tiffany — an ensemble that matched the event’s sophisticated yet relaxed energy.
Cult Gaia blends lightness and structure in a way few brands manage — and experiencing that in person, at sunset in Rio, was something special.
