Serra Negra buzzes with family fun: From Feb 13-17, João Zelante Square bursts with free parades, magic shows and kids’ costumes.
All-ages party in the city heart
Serra Negra’s City Hall hosts the free Carnaval Serra Alegria 2026. The historic center comes alive at Praça Prefeito João Zelante, central streets and Avenida Laudo Natel.
Music performances fill the day. Carnival blocks and costumed groups hit the streets on Feb 14 and 16 from late afternoon. Awards go to top parade highlights.
Kids’ program steals the show
Kids love it. Cartoon characters liven up the square. Fun includes face painting, glitter tattoos, kid-friendly music, magic shows and costume contests.
Wandering bands spread cheer everywhere. Perfect for families to enjoy worry-free.
Serra Negra: Carnival + top tourism
The fest boosts shops, hotels and services. In Paulista Waters Circuit, it’s 150 km from São Paulo. Mountain vibes mix nature and shopping.
Must-sees: Mirante Alto da Serra, Cristo Redentor via cable car, Italian-inspired Fontana di Trevi, balloon and jeep tours. Plus Robot Disneyland for playful thrills.
