Ferrugem headlined the final night of Camarote 011 at São Paulo’s Carnival. The sold-out premium space is already announcing tickets for 2027.
A farewell night at Anhembi
Camarote 011 wrapped up its participation in the 2026 São Paulo Carnival with a headline performance by Ferrugem, one of Brazil’s most celebrated pagode singers. The artist took the stage at the iconic Anhembi Sambadrome, closing the premium venue’s season with a high-energy set of his biggest hits.
Managed by Soccer Hospitality, the space sold out on every single night of the festival, cementing its place as one of the most coveted spots in São Paulo’s Carnival calendar. The 2026 edition paid tribute to “Os Bambas” — a celebration of samba’s roots and the legendary figures who shaped the genre across generations.
Ferrugem on São Paulo and the Carnival grind
In an exclusive interview with Camarote 011, Ferrugem opened up about the demands of Carnival season. “In just a few days, I usually perform over a dozen shows across different states — it takes real physical and emotional preparation,” he said. Closing that marathon at the São Paulo Sambadrome, he noted, felt especially meaningful.
“This is a place where you feel well looked after, welcomed and safe. When you come back and already want to come back again, that’s a sign the relationship is real and the experience is unforgettable.” — Ferrugem, singer
The singer also spoke about São Paulo’s pivotal role in launching his career. “This is where I started performing more regularly — first in informal settings and then with a full band. The São Paulo crowd was essential to the growth of my work,” he explained. On a more personal note, Ferrugem recalled childhood Carnival memories from Rio de Janeiro, where he grew up dressed as a “bate-bola” — a traditional neighborhood street costume with deep cultural roots in Rio’s suburbs.
Star-studded closing night
The final evening drew a glittering guest list. Among those present were Corinthians football legends Dinei and Ronaldo Giovanelli, the club’s executive football director Marcelo Paz, SBT presenter Carol Lekker, influencer Boo Unzueta, and Record journalist Bruno Laurence.
Throughout the season, Camarote 011 featured performances by Tiee, Melanina Carioca, Lito do Nuwance, and Pinha Presidente. Former Big Brother Brasil contestants Lucas Pizane and Raquele Cardoso also joined the festivities in the opening days, alongside the Melanina Carioca crew. Guests watched the parades of iconic samba schools including Gaviões da Fiel, Dragões da Real, and Vai-Vai.
Eyes already set on 2027
Buoyed by the edition’s success, the organization has officially opened ticket sales for the 2027 Carnival. CEO Léo Rizzo was emphatic: “We close this edition knowing that Camarote 011 has established itself as one of the most sought-after spaces at São Paulo Carnival. Every night was sold out, the shows were outstanding, and the overall experience exceeded our own expectations.”
Rizzo outlined an ambitious vision for next year: “Our goal is to expand the structure, bring in new acts, and keep delivering an environment that combines comfort, entertainment, and the thrill of watching the parades at one of the greatest cultural spectacles on the planet. At Camarote 011, guests can count on a prime Sambadrome location, great food, ice-cold drinks, clean facilities, and a truly unique experience.”
Ferrugem also hinted at what fans can expect next: following the release of his album Sentimento, the accompanying tour is set to kick off in July 2026, bringing the new repertoire to cities across Brazil — with São Paulo firmly on the itinerary.
