For the third year in a row, Grupo Pereira’s cash-and-carry chain is an official sponsor of both the street carnival and the city’s Samba School Parades. This season, the brand doubles down on free experiences, interactive areas, and promo actions designed for revelers spending Carnival in the downtown area.

Free abadá customization

One of the headline activations is free abadá customization at Armazém Rita Maria, running from February 6 to 14, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The service is exclusive to Vuon Card customers, Grupo Pereira’s credit and benefits card.

Visitors who don’t have the card yet can apply for it on-site at no cost. The idea is to turn the space into a practical pre-Carnival stop that keeps people coming back across multiple days.

Berbigão do Boca kicks things off

Fort also joins Berbigão do Boca, the traditional party that officially opens Florianópolis Carnival. The event takes place this Friday, February 6, at Largo da Alfândega, starting at noon. The brand will host activations with major partners, including giveaways, beauty services, and hands-on experiences.

Highlights include an interactive ball pit by OMO with sachet distribution; a mist-and-deodorant portal from Rexona; braiding, makeup, and a glitter booth by Dove; a giant sauce station with Hellmann’s tasting; Club Social and Trident handouts from Mondelez; SUQ juice tastings; and a Vuon Card “game of luck” with exclusive prizes.

Activations at the Samba School Parades

On February 13 and 14, during the Florianópolis Samba School Parades at Passarela Nego Quirido, activations spread across multiple areas. At the entrance, the “Boteco Gelado” will sell drinks at accessible prices, including a Brahma combo with three units for R$ 10.

Other features include a Beats photo spot, a Guaraná Antarctica glitter booth, Rexona promo actions, and Dove hair-and-makeup services. Between parade segments, the schedule brings the character Mané Darci as emcee, plus attractions such as a trio elétrico, an allegorical buggy, master of ceremonies figures from samba tradition, and drummers.

The mascot Fortão will also mingle in the stands handing out gifts. In bleachers and VIP boxes, promoters will distribute partner products like Trident, Club Social, and OMO, along with Rexona deodorants. VIP areas are set to feature special activations, a Beats photo spot, Hellmann’s tastings, and a Red Bull bar.

Carnival with a cause

The initiative includes a social component: all revenue from bleacher ticket sales will be donated to a philanthropic institution. The chosen organization will be selected via a public vote on ND Mais on February 10: https://ndmais.com.br/cidadania/carnaval-solidario-fort-atacadista-2026-convida-o-publico-a-escolher-instituicao-beneficiada/

“Fort Atacadista’s mission is to be the biggest partner of Santa Catarina’s people, and that goes far beyond the moment of purchase.”

National marketing manager Silvia Marquez says the Carnival presence reinforces the brand’s commitment to being part of daily life and the cultural celebrations tied to regional identity.
