Gloria Groove launches her 10-year anniversary with free Carnival 2026 shows in Rio, Recife, São Paulo, and Florianópolis.
2026 is a milestone year for Gloria Groove. One of Brazil’s most-streamed pop artists, she starts her 10-year career celebrations with a run of Carnival performances across major cities, blending street-party energy with a setlist built from different phases of her journey.
Free shows across Carnival 2026
The concerts are set to revisit multiple “eras,” bringing back the hits that helped shape her place in Brazilian pop culture. Just as importantly, every date announced so far is free, reinforcing the open, public spirit that defines Carnival.
The schedule opens on 02/07 at Fan Fest Rio Capital do Carnaval, on Copacabana Beach (Posto 3). For the Rio show, Gloria Groove welcomes Tia Surica and Portela’s Velha-Guarda, creating a high-profile bridge between contemporary pop and Rio’s samba tradition. The Fan Fest also features workshops, interactive activations, a Carnival parade, and free concerts; the same weekend includes acts like Xande de Pilares, Iza, and Alcione.
On 02/08, she heads to Recife for the Festival Pernambuco Meu País no Carnaval, held at the city’s Passenger Maritime Terminal. Staged in the pre-Carnival week, the event mixes local and national names. Highlights listed in the program include João Gomes, Nação Zumbi, Priscila Senna, and Raphaela Santos.
During Carnival’s official dates, Gloria Groove appears in São Paulo on Saturday, 02/14, at Bloco do TikTok e Agrada Gregos, near Ibirapuera Park. Known as the city’s biggest LGBTQIA+ community bloco, the event also features Traemme and Gretchen, hosted by drag queen Sheyla Christina.
The run closes in Florianópolis on 02/16, where she joins the city’s street Carnival as an attraction at Bloco Pop Gay. Floripa’s lineup spans pagode, axé, funk, and Brazilian pop, with confirmed artists such as Ferrugem, Jammil, Diana Dias, MC Davi, MC Pedrinho, and Em Cima da Hora.
