Gold Series 2026 tickets for Feb 13 sold out on Monday, sealing a packed Sapucaí for both nights of Liga RJ parades on Feb 13–14
Sapucaí will be full once again for the Gold Series at Rio Carnival 2026. Early Monday afternoon (Feb 2), the last tickets for Friday, Feb 13, were snapped up.
Saturday, Feb 14, had already been sold out for about two weeks. A small remaining batch for Friday was the final holdout—and it’s now gone too.
With both nights sold out, the Gold Series keeps its recent momentum and strengthens its place as a must-see stop on Rio’s Carnival calendar.
Gold Series 2026: demand keeps rising
Liga RJ points to growing audience interest in the Sambadrome’s competitive parades, alongside consistent work from the samba schools throughout the year.
“It’s a great source of pride to see the Gold Series sold out again. It shows how our carnival is growing, the serious work being done by the schools, and the public’s increasing interest in watching big parades at Sapucaí,” said Hugo Junior, president of Liga RJ.
