One of the parade’s major highlights was drum master Igor Almeida, who made his debut with the school in grand style, drawing applause from the audience and community.Passionate about carnival, Igor not only shone leading the drum section but also demonstrated versatility and creativity by designing the costume he wore in the parade. The outfit called “King Xangô”, marked by identity and personality, was crafted by Almeida’s atelier, reinforcing the aesthetic care and the samba artist’s direct involvement in every detail of his presentation.
Intense carnival marathon
With an already established trajectory in the festivities, Igor Almeida has important passages through other associations. He paraded as muse of Unidos de Bangu, presided over the united wings and also coordinates the muses team of the red and white pavilion, which crossed the avenue on carnival Friday.On Saturday, he brought his charisma and samba footwork to Botafogo Samba Clube, where he was featured on a parade float at the Marquês de Sapucaí Sambadrome.
