For the second time at Carnival 2026, Ivete Sangalo led Bloco Coruja at Circuito Dodô, in Barra-Ondina. The singer opened the day’s parades with a tribute to Preta Gil, performing “Sinais de Fogo,” and then energized the crowd with her hit “Eva”.

The setlist featured her recently released single “Vampirinha”, which has already entered Spotify’s Top 50 most-streamed songs. Songs launched in recent Carnivals were also included, such as “Energia de Gostosa,” “O Mundo Vai,” “Macetando,” and “O Verão Bateu Em Minha Porta.” Of course, Veveta’s greatest career hits couldn’t be left out.

Bahian Carnival classics like “Dandalunda,” “Maibê Dandá,” and “Faraó” were also part of the setlist, ensuring the infectious energy that only Bahian celebrations can deliver.

Special guests on the trio truck

Among the famous guests who joined her on the trio truck were Liniker, Flor Gil, Thaynara OG, photographer Ricardo Stuckert, and Bahian rapper Hiran, who performed a song with Mainha. At the end of the block, Ivete and Liniker sang together “Caju”, the São Paulo singer’s hit, and “Não Quero Dinheiro”.

Costume and team

Veveta wore a red, white, and sparkly costume designed by Patrícia Zuffa. The project’s looks are conceived for the trio truck’s movement, comfort, and the powerful presence Ivete brings to the streets. Makeup artist Markito Costa handled her beauty.

As always, Ivete Sangalo was accompanied by her band: Radamés Venâncio (musical director, keyboards, and VS), Léo Brasileiro (guitar), Marcelus Leone (sax), Elber Barbosa, Márcio Brasil, and Marcelo Sangalo Cady (percussion), Rudney Santos (trumpet), Gilmar Chaves (trombone), Diego Freitas (drums), Gigi Cerqueira (bass), Camila Braunna and Pablo Braunna (backing vocals).

Carnival schedule

On Sunday night (15), Veveta performed for the first time at Camarote Villa Salvador. This Tuesday (17), Ivete closes her street Carnival in Salvador in grand style, leading Pipoca da Veveta at Circuito Osmar in Campo Grande. At night, the singer performs for revelers at Camarote Salvador.
