Ludmilla will headline Fairmont Rio’s Masquerade Ball: “Verão Maravilha” renews the hotel’s Carnival 2026 partnership with Camarote Arpoador.
Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana has confirmed its Carnival 2026 theme, Verão Maravilha (Marvelous Summer), and renewed its programming partnership with Camarote Arpoador. The concept blends upscale hospitality with entertainment and Rio’s Carnival culture, aimed at both hotel guests and locals.
Masquerade Ball led by Ludmilla
The marquee event is the Masquerade Ball, set for the Friday before the Champions’ Parade night. The hotel promises a high-energy evening of music, costumes, and immersive experiences for invited guests, public figures, and Carnival lovers.
Ludmilla tops the lineup, joined by Grande Rio’s drumline and guest DJs. Brunna Gonçalves has been named the edition’s special muse, adding extra star power and visibility to the night.
“Feijoada da Apuração” with Marvvila
Fairmont Rio also brings back the Feijoada da Apuração, a traditional pre-results celebration tied to Rio’s samba schools. This year’s edition features a show by Marvvila and a drumline from the school based in Duque de Caxias.
Building on 2025’s success
The 2026 announcement follows the 2025 Masquerade Ball, themed Jardim Tropical (Tropical Garden), headlined by IZA. The previous edition stood out for its front-commission performances, Grande Rio’s drumline, Diego Maverty’s set design, a menu by chef Jérôme Dardillac, and brand activations that turned the hotel into a tropical-inspired immersive space.

The statement comes from Netto Moreira, general manager of Accor’s luxury cluster in Rio de Janeiro, who also highlights Ludmilla, Brunna Gonçalves, and Marvvila as artists representing different voices and communities across the city.
More than a party schedule, Fairmont Rio positions its Carnival program as a full Copacabana experience, mixing music and gastronomy with one of the world’s most iconic beachfront backdrops.
