Ludmilla headlines Fairmont Rio’s 2026 Masquerade Ball, themed Verão Maravilha, as the hotel renews its Carnival partnership with Camarote Arpoador.
Carnival 2026 at Fairmont Rio
Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana has set its 2026 theme as Verão Maravilha. The schedule is once again built with Camarote Arpoador, blending hospitality, entertainment, and Rio’s cultural pulse.
Two tentpoles lead the program: the Masquerade Ball and the Feijoada da Apuração. In turn, the hotel positions the experience for guests and locals alike.
Masquerade Ball: Ludmilla takes the stage
The night’s headline is Ludmilla, with music, costumes, and immersive moments at the center. The ball runs on the Friday right before the Champions’ Parade weekend.
Alongside her performance, the Grande Rio drumline joins the party, with invited DJs completing the lineup. Dancer Brunna Gonçalves is set as this edition’s special muse.
Feijoada da Apuração keeps the samba close
The Feijoada da Apuração features a show by Marvvila and a drumline from the Duque de Caxias samba school. Meanwhile, the tradition stands: it’s held ahead of the official scoring reveal.
Building on 2025’s momentum
The 2026 edition follows the success of the 2025 Masquerade Ball, themed Jardim Tropical, headlined by IZA. That night also brought performances from Grande Rio’s drumline and its parade front ensemble.
In 2025, the scenography by Diego Maverty, a menu by chef Jérôme Dardillac, and brand activations turned the hotel into a tropical-inspired immersive space. This year, the new theme aims to expand that energy.

Ter artistas como Ludmilla, Brunna Gonçalves e Marvvila na programação é celebrar talentos que representam diferentes vozes e territórios da cidade”, afirma Netto Moreira, diretor-geral do cluster de luxo da Accor no Rio de Janeiro.
More than a party calendar, Fairmont Rio frames Carnival as a full Copacabana experience, mixing music, food, and art with the beachfront setting. As a result, each event is designed to feel polished without losing Rio’s spirit.
