The samba school União de Maricá gathers at Claudinho Guimarães Circuit, near Rua Paraná street, marching to the corner of Rua Rio de Janeiro along the beachfront.
Building on last week’s triumph, they chose this spot to wrap up street practices. It fuels their drive toward the Marquês de Sapucaí parade.
On February 14, União de Maricá hits the avenue sixth in the Gold Series, unveiling the plot “Berenguendéns e Balangandãs” by carnavalesco Leandro Vieira.
This finale rehearsal pulses with beats that unite community and Rio’s Carnival heritage.
