Monobloco ends the wait. On February 6 and 13, the bloc holds rehearsals at Fundição Progresso. It’s the perfect Carnival 2026 warmup.
The theme “Come on in, make yourself at home” welcomes everyone. Founders Pedro Luís, Celso Alvim, C.A. Ferrari, and Sidon Silva mark 26 years of joy.

Setlist blends hits and tributes
The full battery, led by Celso Alvim, delivers timeless tracks. “Taj Mahal”, “Fio Maravilha”, and “Explode Coração” get the crowd moving.
Special nods shine bright. Arlindo Cruz with “O Show Tem Que Continuar” and “Samba de Arerê”. Preta Gil via “Só o Amor” and “Sinais de Fogo”.
New album “Mar de Aragão” features Jorge Aragão tunes. Samba, pagode, forró, funk mix in. Icons like “Arrastão da Alegria” and “Funk do Monobloco” seal it.
