Ne-Yo debuts in Pernambuco commanding 10-hour night at Carvalheira

American singer performed for the first time in the state and shared the stage with Wesley Safadão, Matheus & Kauan, and Léo Santana at Memorial Arcoverde in a Monday musical marathon. Carvalheira na Ladeira transformed Memorial Arcoverde into a true musical circuit on Monday (16), bringing together sertanejo, pagode, axé, electronic music, and funk in over ten hours of programming. The highlight of the night went to Ne-Yo, who made his debut in Pernambuco and enchanted the audience with charisma, sharp vocals, and signature choreography. On the festival’s third day, Matheus & Kauan opened the sequence of major acts on the Carvalheira Stage. Wesley Safadão, one of the most anticipated performers, delivered one of the night’s most vibrant moments by inviting Matheus to the stage, sending the crowd into a frenzy with hits and strong interaction.

Ne-Yo’s remarkable debut in Pernambuco

Performing for the first time in the state, American singer Ne-Yo, who dominated charts in the 2000s and 2010s, sang hits like Miss Independent, Sexy Love, and Because Of You. The artist delivered charisma, interacted intensely with the audience, and celebrated his time at Pernambuco’s Carnival throughout his performance. The marathon continued with a show by Bahia’s Léo Santana, and in the final stretch, Matheus Fernandes kept the energy high until the closing.

Musical diversity across three stages

At Ladeira Stage, diversity set the tone with DaMatta, Revelação, Eric Land, Timbalada, and Locus, mixing pagode, forró, axé, and pop. Meanwhile, GAC Club concentrated the electronic atmosphere with sets by Korossy throughout the day, plus Marcelo Botelho, Kadu Martins, and Cat Dealers taking over the dancefloor. The event also featured a strong presence of influencers and celebrities. Bianca Andrade, Laura Brito, and Camila Loures circulated through exclusive areas, posed for photos, and shared posts on social media, energizing the backstage scene at Carvalheira na Ladeira.
