Brazilian stars Paolla Oliveira and Claudia Ohana brought sun and shadow to Rio’s Carnival at Camarote N1, as Dove’s hair care campaign took center stage.
On Carnival Tuesday (Feb. 17), Camarote N1 — one of the most coveted viewing lounges along the Marquês de Sapucaí Sambadrome — welcomed Paolla Oliveira and Claudia Ohana as special guests of Dove.
Sun vs. Night: the story behind the looks
The two actresses embodied the concept at the heart of Dove’s latest campaign, which contrasts solar and nocturnal creatures — both now free to step into the sunlight without fearing UV damage to their hair.
Paolla Oliveira wore a radiant, sun-kissed ensemble that complemented the launch of Dove’s Biphasic Serum Oil Repair & Glow + Ferulic Acid — the brand’s key product for this Carnival season. Her look captured the vibrant energy of the celebration while reinforcing the message that great hair care belongs at the heart of the party.
Claudia Ohana took a different route, stepping into the role of a modern nocturnal creature: fringes, corset, and dark, glittering styling. Symbolically, her character leaves the shadows behind and faces the UV rays head-on — without sacrificing her striking aesthetic or her hair protection.
Dove takes over Camarote N1’s beauty lounges
The evening also marked a milestone for Camarote N1, which is celebrating 35 years at the Sambadrome. For the first time in its history, both the accreditation lounge and the indoor beauty stations were fully branded by Dove Hair.
Throughout the night, revelers could refresh their hairstyles, try out products, and dance until sunrise with reinforced hair protection — a fitting statement from a brand placing itself at the intersection of beauty and Carnival culture.
