Skala Cosmetics storms Rio’s Sambadrome with free hair salon at Favela Lounge, handing out 5K hair oils and honoring peripheral culture this Carnival 2026.
Beauty vibes amid the samba beats
Skala Cosmetics hits the Favela Lounge for Carnival 2026 on February 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 21 at Rio’s Marquês de Sapucaí.
From 8pm to 3am, guests pick from over 10 hairstyles and braids, styled with Skala’s finishing products.
Plus, 5,000 units of Skala Expert #MaisCachos and Skala Frutástica Avocado oils go into press kits for guests and content creators.
“Beyond the event experience, we’ve structured influencer participation to spread the message nationwide, linking audiences to the action’s purpose digitally too,” says Bruna Veneziano, Skala’s marketing director.
Influencers capture the Carnival energy on social media.
Tied to popular culture roots
Bruna highlights the brand’s reach. “Skala has a historic bond with diverse consumers. We’re in 54% of Brazilian homes, about 32 million residences.”
Launched in 2020, the Favela Lounge takes Sector 5 of the Sambadrome. Lineup features Lexa (15th), Marvvila (16th), Buchecha (17th), and Diogo Nogueira (21st).
