The Tropik Block offers an exclusive escape at Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana. Street block energy meets golden sands and ocean views. On Monday, February 16, this beach club blends tradition with sophistication.
Partnered with the Association of Rio de Janeiro Tourism Ambassadors, it delivers flawless curation. Rhythms fuse marchinhas, samba, and modern beats.
The event stands out as a “Charming Carnival” refuge, where asphalt gives way to sand and crowd frenzy is replaced by Fairmont’s comfort and excellence.
Lineup from Day to Sunset
Party runs 2pm to 7pm. Kicks off with DJ Daniel Faria at 2pm, followed by the irreverent Grupo Bagunço fanfare at 4pm, and wraps with Nicole Cyrne and Edu Mega at 5:30pm. Mixes classic Rio vibes with fresh sounds to keep everyone moving.
Chef Jérôme Dardillac leads the Noble Feijoada, the culinary star. Starters include bean soup and cracklings. Hot buffet features rice, black beans, dried meat, loin, sausage, farofa, and bacon-tossed collards. Desserts: Fairmont milk pudding, chocolate brigadeiro, coconut couscous.
