The 12th Gostoso Film Festival has announced its complete program. The event takes place from November 20 to 24, 2025, on Maceió Beach, in São Miguel do Gostoso (RN). With free outdoor screenings, the festival reinforces its mission to democratize Brazilian cinema and promote national production.
Program highlights
The main highlight of this edition is the special screening on Saturday, November 22, featuring “The Secret Agent”, starring Wagner Moura and directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho. The film is expected to draw a large audience to the seaside venue.
The program is divided into four sections: Competitive Showcase, Special Screenings, Panorama Section, and Potiguar Showcase, which focuses on productions from Rio Grande do Norte. In addition to screenings, there will be daily debates and seminars, encouraging dialogue between filmmakers, critics, and audiences.

Throughout five days, attendees will enjoy screenings on Maceió Beach and activities at venues such as Pousada dos Ponteiros and Galeria Sol da Meia-Noite. The schedule includes films from all Brazilian regions, discussions on sustainability, panels about national cinema, and book launches.
The closing ceremony on Monday, November 24, will feature awards and a screening of the documentary “Dona Onete – My Heart in This Little Piece Here”, directed by Mini Kerti.
