Charli xcx drops “Wall Of Sound” ahead of film

“Wall Of Sound” is out now: Charli xcx soundtracks “Wuthering Heights,” hitting Brazilian theaters Feb. 12 with Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.

Charli xcx released “Wall Of Sound” on Friday (16), a new track from her “Wuthering Heights” album, created to accompany the upcoming film reimagining of “Wuthering Heights”. The movie is written and directed by Emerald Fennell and opens in Brazilian theaters on February 12, 2026, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as the central couple.

The single is billed as the final release ahead of the album’s official drop on February 13. Sonically, Charli leans into a tense mix of romance and sadness, matching the story’s dramatic pull and emotional extremes.

“Wall Of Sound” joins “Chains Of Love” and “House (feat. John Cale),” building a soundtrack that sits right on the edge of heartbreak and obsession. The goal is to translate the characters’ inner turmoil into pop shape without losing the darkness at the core of the narrative.

In the film’s arc, Charli xcx’s soundtrack follows Catherine (Robbie) and Heathcliff (Elordi), whose lives connect in childhood and evolve into a relationship defined by love, fixation, and consequences.

The film opens in Brazil on February 12, 2026, including IMAX screenings and accessible versions. The “Wuthering Heights” album arrives the next day, February 13, completing the final rollout right before the movie’s debut.
