Bangu Shopping, located in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, is hosting another edition of CineMaterna this Wednesday, March 25, at 2 PM. The film on the bill is the Brazilian comedy Cara de Um, Focinho de Outro, screened in a room specially prepared for families with babies up to 18 months old.
A cinema experience built around babies
The session takes place at Cinesystem Bangu Shopping with thoughtful adaptations designed to keep both parents and babies at ease. The room features reduced sound levels, soft lighting, a mild air-conditioning temperature, and open space for strollers.
These adjustments are what set CineMaterna apart from a regular moviegoing experience. The initiative recognizes that new parents deserve cultural outings too — without having to choose between their social lives and their babies’ needs.
Free tickets on a first-come, first-served basis
The venue will offer 10 complimentary tickets to the first mothers arriving with babies up to 18 months old. Distribution begins 30 minutes before the session starts and follows a strict first-come, first-served policy. Tickets cannot be picked up on behalf of others.
Companions and other attendees may purchase tickets at the box office once the complimentary ones run out. Entry is subject to room capacity. The promotion applies exclusively to this CineMaterna session.
