For the first time in Brazil, the Golden Globes Tribute Gala takes over Copacabana Palace with Moët & Chandon as the evening’s official champagne.
A historic night at Copacabana Palace
On March 18, 2026, the Golden Globes Tribute Gala makes its Brazilian debut at one of South America’s most storied venues: the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro. As the official champagne of the ceremony, Moët & Chandon turns the evening into an unforgettable experience, reaffirming its legacy as the ultimate symbol of celebration, excellence, and French savoir-faire.
Brazil’s entertainment stars will raise a glass of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut, a cuvée first created in 1869 and still considered the purest expression of the Maison’s style. Behind that choice stands a 35-year partnership with the Annual Golden Globes — one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the world.
Exclusive activations from red carpet to table
The Maison curated a series of experiences that bring its signature bubbles to every corner of the event. On the red carpet, the Mini Moët Vending Machine greets guests upon arrival. Inside, the Prestige Bar serves champagne by the glass, while elegant ice-bucket-adorned bottles anchor every table.
The night’s winners take home a truly special keepsake: a personalized Jeroboam decorated with Swarovski crystals, a collector’s piece that merges celebration and artistry.
A bond with cinema stretching back to 1896
Moët & Chandon‘s relationship with the silver screen is one of the oldest in entertainment history. As early as 1896, the pioneering Lumière brothers were already celebrating with the Maison. The brand’s first recorded product placement came in 1927, in Alfred Hitchcock‘s The Ring — a director who remained a devoted admirer and continued featuring the champagne in his classics.
Over the decades, Moët & Chandon appeared alongside Audrey Hepburn in Love in the Afternoon, Charlie Chaplin in A King in New York, and icons such as Marlon Brando, Julia Roberts, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kendall Jenner. Each appearance reinforces the brand’s core belief: “Life is better shared.”
From Friends of the House to the Moët Talent Club
In the 1950s, President & CEO Robert-Jean de Vogüé recognized artists as cultural tastemakers and established the Friends of the House — a community that brought global talents together around the Maison’s values. Among his guests was Josephine Baker, as the brand expanded its cinematic footprint worldwide.
That legacy now thrives as The Moët Talent Club, a community that amplifies the Maison’s global cultural relevance and celebrates the intersection of excellence, creativity, and the French art of living.
