At Copacabana Palace, Moët & Chandon toasted 35 years of cinematic legacy during Brazil’s first Golden Globes Tribute Gala.
On March 18, Moët & Chandon celebrated a milestone night as the Golden Globes Tribute Gala arrived in Brazil for the first time. As the official champagne of the ceremony for 35 years, the French Maison reaffirmed its enduring connection to film, honoring Brazilian artists whose work has resonated worldwide.
Toasts, stars, and French flair
Guests entered the red carpet greeted by a playful Mini Moët Vending Machine with a golden spout. Inside the grand ballroom, the Prestige Bar served chilled champagne while golden ice buckets adorned each table. Actress Valentina Herszage — honored with the Golden Globes Rising Award — joined Alice Wegmann, Bianca Comparato, Bruno Fagundes, Xenia França, and Maria Braz at the Moët & Chandon table.
Honorees received bespoke Jeroboams adorned with Swarovski crystals handcrafted by the Atelier Moët. The star of the night, Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut — created in 1869 — symbolized the Maison’s excellence and festive spirit.
“Life is better shared.” — the Maison’s timeless motto echoed through every toast at Copacabana Palace.
A golden legacy with cinema
Moët & Chandon’s bond with cinema dates back to 1896 with the Lumière brothers, later featured in Alfred Hitchcock’s films and associated with icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Charlie Chaplin, and Julia Roberts. This cinematic journey cemented the Maison as a global emblem of elegance and shared joy.
Under Robert-Jean de Vogüé’s leadership, “Friends of the House” was born — now known as “The Moët Talent Club” — creating a worldwide network of artists celebrating French savoir-faire and the art of living. Every glass lifted is more than a toast; it’s a tribute to art, emotion, and collective celebration.
