Prime Video has released the official trailer for Dupla Perigosa, an original action-comedy led by Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa. The film premieres on January 28, 2026, exclusively on the service. It will also roll out in more than 240 countries and territories.
Built around the duo’s on-screen chemistry, the movie blends big laughs with an unexpectedly emotional tone. It explores brotherhood, family, redemption, masculinity, and facing the past. The project also brings together two actors who had long wanted to collaborate.
Story: brothers pulled back in
The plot follows estranged half-brothers Jonny (Jason Momoa) and James (Dave Bautista). They reunite after their father’s mysterious death. As they search for answers, buried secrets resurface and loyalties shift under pressure.
Soon, the investigation points to a conspiracy that could tear their family apart. Even so, the brothers choose to push forward together. Along the way, they fight through every obstacle that blocks their path.
Cast and setting
The cast features Claes Bang, Temuera Morrison, Jacob Batalon, Frankie Adams, and Miyavi. Stephen Root and Morena Baccarin also appear. The story is set on the streets of Hawaii.
