Ryan Gosling stars in “Lars and the Real Girl”, the free NetMovies highlight premiering this Thursday.
The free movie platform NetMovies adds to its catalog on March 5 the acclaimed film “Lars and the Real Girl”, starring Ryan Gosling. The actor plays Lars, a lonely young man who shocks his small town by introducing Bianca, a lifelike doll he believes to be his girlfriend. Directed by Craig Gillespie, the film balances humor and tenderness while showing how the community embraces Lars’s fantasy with kindness.
Gosling, alongside Emily Mortimer and Paul Schneider, delivers one of his most touching performances in this story about acceptance and emotional healing.

Also premiering is the German horror film “The Black Spider” (Die Schwarze Spinne), directed by Markus Fischer. It follows Christine, a brave midwife who makes a pact with the devil to save her village, only to face a deadly curse.
The platform also releases “Attack on Finland” (Omerta 6/12), directed by Aku Louhimies. In this tense thriller, a security officer must unravel a terrorist plot that threatens to destabilize Europe during Finland’s Independence Day celebration.
