The wait is nearly over. Scream 7 has released its final trailer during opening week, and it delivers exactly what fans have been hoping for: Neve Campbell back as Sidney Prescott, this time with higher stakes than ever — her own daughter’s life on the line.
A new Ghostface, a familiar target
In the story, a new Ghostface emerges in the quiet town where Sidney has rebuilt her life. Her daughter, played by Isabel May, becomes the masked killer’s next target. Driven to protect her family, Sidney must confront the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
Courteney Cox also returns as the relentless journalist Gale Weathers, reuniting the iconic duo that has anchored the franchise from the very beginning.
A stacked cast and creative team
The film also stars Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos.
Behind the camera, Kevin Williamson — the original creator of the franchise’s characters — steps into the director’s chair for the first time in the series, while also co-writing the screenplay with Guy Busick. The story was developed alongside James Vanderbilt, who also produces with William Sherak and Paul Neinstein.
Determined to protect her family, Sidney will have to face the horrors of her past to put an end to the massacre once and for all.
