Scream 7 tops charts while Twilight pre-sales surge in Brazil

Scream 7 posted the biggest opening of 2026 in Brazil, leading Ingresso.com’s Top 5; Twilight’s re-release pre-sales are already breaking records ahead of March.

Ingresso.com, Brazil’s pioneer in online ticketing and box office automation, has released its Cinema Top 5 for the weekend of February 26 to March 1, 2026. The ranking covers the most purchased titles on the platform’s website and app, which logged over 240 million visits in 2025.

1. Scream 7

Scream 7 dominates the chart with the biggest box office opening of 2026 in Brazil. A new killer wearing the iconic Ghostface mask returns to hunt Sidney Prescott, played by Neve Campbell. Living quietly with her daughter, Sidney is once again dragged into a nightmare as the serial killer reignites old traumas and sets her child as his new target.

2. Wuthering Heights

The big-screen adaptation of Emily Brontë‘s classic lands in second place. Margot Robbie stars as Catherine Earnshaw alongside Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, whose bond — forged in childhood and torn apart by class and circumstance — spirals into obsession, pain, and revenge.

3. The Maid

Based on Freida McFadden‘s bestselling novel, The Maid is a psychological thriller starring Sydney Sweeney as Millie, a young woman seeking a fresh start by taking a housekeeping job for Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar). What looks like an opportunity quickly unravels into a web of dark family secrets.

4. Brave the Wild (Pixar)

The latest film from Pixar Animation Studios claims fourth place. In the adventure, Mabel uses technology to transfer her consciousness into a robotic beaver, experiencing the world as a rodent. When the anti-animal mayor Jerry threatens the peaceful coexistence between animals and humans, she takes action in a story driven by empathy and bravery.

5. Twilight (Re-release)

The 2008 global phenomenon Twilight rounds out the top 5 on the strength of its pre-sale numbers. The film follows Bella Swan, who moves to the rainy town of Forks and falls for the mysterious Edward Cullen — a vampire. Their forbidden romance puts her life in danger, drawing her into a shadowy world where love and peril are inseparable. The re-release hits Brazilian theaters on March 19.

Over the past month, Twilight ranked among the most-accessed titles through the “remind me” feature on Ingresso.com’s website and app, which lets users set alerts for when ticket sales or pre-sales go live.
