A literary classic returns to the big screen
The film received four Academy Award nominations and is directed by Joe Wright. The script, written by Deborah Moggach, adapts the acclaimed novel by Jane Austen. The author also wrote notable titles such as “Sense and Sensibility” and “Persuasion”.
The story follows Elizabeth Bennet, played by Keira Knightley. When she meets the reserved Mr. Darcy, portrayed by Matthew Macfadyen, she believes he is the last man she would ever marry. Over time, however, their paths intertwine and reveal unexpected feelings.
National screening in subtitled version
The film is distributed by Universal Pictures. It returns to Brazilian cinemas in a subtitled 2D version. Information about sessions and schedules is available in the programming of local cinema networks.
