7th Vamos que Venimos Brasil Festival takes place in Santo André and SP

Vamos que Venimos Brasil holds 7th edition from 18–21/11 with free theatre shows, debates and activities for young artists.

Festival brings together teen theatre groups

From 18 to 21 November 2025, the public can attend the 7th Teen Theatre Festival “Vamos que Venimos Brasil” (@vqvbrasil), the Brazilian version of the event created in Buenos Aires and part of a Latin American theatre network. Activities take place at SESC Santo André and Itaú Cultural in São Paulo.

The program features groups from Mauá, Tatuí, São Paulo, Santo André, Jundiaí and Ribeirão Pires, with discussions on the plurality of teenage experiences and the construction of a multiple notion of Brazil.

Selected performances

The selected works include: “Loucura” (Colégio Beka – São Paulo/SP); “Brasil com S: SLAM ABC” (Slam ABC – Mauá/SP); “Etéreo: entre o visível e o invisível” (Conservatório de Tatuí/SP); “Festa do Adeus – desembarque pelo lado esquerdo do trem” (Teatro Singular – Santo André/SP); “Manifesto à Beleza” (Núcleo Atuará – Jundiaí/SP); “Redoma” (NIT – Escola Livre – Santo André/SP); and “Terror e Miséria” (Turma de Teatro EMARP – Ribeirão Pires/SP).

Opening and schedule

The opening takes place on 18 November at 3 p.m. at SESC Santo André. The following days run from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., with theatre performances, discussions, exchange panels and workshops aimed at strengthening teen artistic production.

The program includes an opening workshop, shows, conferences, book launches, mediated visits, creative exchange panels and thematic discussions on memory, identity, resistance and diversity.
