Free ticket pickup for Joelma and Marisa Monte at Arena Floripa opens Mar 2 at 12 p.m., online only, limited to 1 ticket per CPF
The most anticipated countdown of the Maratona Cultural de Florianópolis is almost over: on March 2 at noon, the event starts releasing free tickets for its biggest concerts at Arena Floripa. Tickets must be claimed exclusively at pensanoevento.com.br/maratonacultural.
Arena Floripa traditionally draws huge crowds to Parque Metropolitano Francisco Dias Velho in downtown Florianópolis. In 2026, the Arena’s headline concerts happen on March 21 and 22, led by Joelma (Saturday) and Marisa Monte (Sunday).
How to claim free tickets
General admission for Arena Floripa is free. Starting March 2 at 12 p.m., tickets will be available only at pensanoevento.com.br/maratonacultural, with a limit of 1 ticket per CPF.
Children up to age 7 do not need a ticket to enter the Arena. From that age on, a ticket is required. Free tickets will also be offered for the PCD area (people with disabilities), subject to the venue’s capacity.
Arena Floripa schedule highlights
The Arena program starts in the afternoon and runs into the night, mixing music, artistic interventions, and established names.
On Saturday, March 21, activities begin at 3 p.m. with circus performances by MangueCircus Circus Fever. Later, DJ NIA, the show “Lamaçau – 60 anos Chico Science,” and local band Dazaranha take the stage. At night, DJ STTAR and singer Amandah Amâncio set the mood for Joelma’s concert, scheduled for 9 p.m.
On Sunday, March 22, the Arena hosts interventions by Cia. Nós Moscava, plus sets by DJ Naira Iasmim, Iara Ferreira Trio, and Orquestra Brasileira. At 8 p.m., Marisa Monte closes the Arena program. With nearly four decades of career and rare free outdoor appearances, she is expected to draw visitors from across Brazil.
New in 2026: Arena Floripa VIP box
The 2026 edition introduces the Camarote Arena Floripa, a limited-capacity VIP box with a separate entrance, its own bar and food area, exclusive restrooms, and a lounge. Tickets go on sale March 2 at pensanoevento.com.br/maratonacultural.
For Joelma (3/21), the first-price tier starts at R$ 150,00. For Marisa Monte (3/22), prices start at R$ 200,00.
Theater and dance: in-person tickets
Beyond Arena Floripa, the Maratona fills theaters and indoor venues across the city. For theater and dance shows, tickets are distributed in person at each venue’s box office, limited to 1 per person, with no online registration required.
Distribution begins 1 hour before each performance. At Teatro Ademir Rosa (CIC), tickets are released 2 hours before showtime. Highlights mentioned by organizers include “Encantado” (3/20) and Cena 11’s “Eu Não Sou Só Eu em Mim” (3/22).
The 12th Maratona Cultural de Florianópolis is produced by Instituto Maratona Cultural, Brazil’s Ministry of Culture, and the Federal Government. It is funded through the Rouanet Law and the Municipal Cultural Incentive Law. Sponsors include Mercado Livre, Petrobras, Aurora Coop, Teltec Solutions, Sicoob, and the City of Florianópolis via its Secretariat of Culture, Sport and Leisure and Fundação Cultural de Florianópolis Franklin Cascaes. Support comes from Fundação Catarinense da Cultura and the Government of Santa Catarina, plus cultural supporters IBAGY, WKoerich, Cassol Centerlar, Iber Músicas, CDL Florianópolis, and Koerich.
