Blumenau’s Beer Museum (SC) welcomed 8,400 visitors from 55 countries in 2025, showcasing beer history and Brazil’s Beer Capital title.
The site logged over 8,400 visits last year. Guests delved into production methods, styles, and ties to Blumenau, Brazil’s Beer Capital. Figures come from the museum’s guest books.
October peaks during Oktoberfest
October topped the list, boosted by Oktoberfest. School holidays and public holidays also spiked tourism. With nine national holidays in 2026, manager Vanessa Tomio Zanetti Koch expects even higher numbers.
Extended breaks directly boost museum traffic, and we’re gearing up for a busy year.
English tours available by appointment. Visitors hailed from Germany, Austria, Portugal, France, India, Japan, Australia, Uganda, South Africa, Morocco, and Tunisia. All South American nations registered too.
Visitors from every Brazilian state
Brazilians came from all states, mostly São Paulo. The complex features eight thematic rooms on beer history, production, and styles. Enjoy two-label tastings and a Biergarten overlooking Itajaí-Açu River, with food and kids’ play area.
