The Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil Rio de Janeiro is launching a new cultural project that doubles as a happy hour. Inova BB brings together market leaders, artists, and thinkers for free monthly gatherings inside the Espaço Conceito Banco do Brasil. The debut edition, closing out Women’s Month, features two remarkable guests whose careers resonate far beyond Brazil.

A Talk About Career and Authenticity

On Thursday, March 26, at 6 PM, acclaimed actress Mariana Xavier opens the series with a conversation about career and female empowerment. Known for her work across theater, television, and film, Xavier will speak candidly about the pressures of conforming to social standards that never truly reflected who she is — and how breaking free from those expectations shaped her path.

A Voice That Reaches the World

The following evening, Friday, March 27, starting at 5:30 PM, singer-songwriter Juliane Gamboa takes the stage for an intimate pocket show. Born in Petrópolis, she blends Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), jazz, and samba into a sound that has earned international recognition. Her latest album, Jazzwoman (2024), led to a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards.

Inova BB was born as a meeting place for people, ideas, and experiences — where industry references come together to spark reflection and inspire new perspectives.

All events are free of charge. Tickets are available starting March 23 at bb.com.br/espacoconceito and at the CCBB box office. The series will continue monthly throughout 2026, always free and always in the spirit of a cultural happy hour.
